Slovenian born defender that is the son of long time Slovenian national team player Juraj Goličič, was just drafted in the import draft by Gatineau. To this point I think he may be underrated for next years draft, maybe not a top-3 round guy, but could definitely see his name called in the mid-late rounds. He stands at 6’6” and has pretty good skating and offensive instincts for a player his size, he is an intimidating presence in the defensive zone, using his long stick to nullify rushes. I really like this players chances at getting drafted next year, and I have seen almost zero coverage on his play - this is probably because he’s a Slovenian prospect, but I‘m hoping to change that. Kopitar needs some company in the NHL.
