good for him, always liked the way he played the game.
now get him ready to play for the US at the World Championships!! I am not kidding either as I don't see us landing to many top stars this year and kids like Gaudreau and McCabe will likely fill some roles.

McCabe scored two goals on nine shots in four preseason games with 20:30 ATOI and finished a +4. He showed well enough to survive cuts, as Pysyk's injury has created a temporary opening in Buffalo, but I suspect Nolan/Murray only keep him in the NHL if he's dressing, as there's no point in him being the seventh defender when he can play in Rochester.
