I was very close to making a thread for this guy last year, but he didn't get picked. I'm going to make a thread now because I think he'll be picked next year. There always tends to be some USHL kids that go under the radar, but eventually get recognition, and I think this guy is one of them.

He's a defensive defensemen with good size, a very good read of the game defensively. Great positionally, recognizes when to break up plays, strong skater, physical. He can move the puck well enough, and create zone exits with his feet. He also plays PP in the USHL, but probably doesn't have the offensive skills to be that in higher level pro leagues. I won't peg a range because he was undrafted last year, but I think he'll be a pick next year. Committed to Cornell for next year.

While this is his freshman year, it's technically his D+2 which I think is worth mentioning.
