I don’t know if I’ll come off as a hater for saying this, but I feel Leonard will end up like the 3rd or 4th best forward on the Caps and Hutson will end up the 3rd or 4th best player.

I kind of get the point. Obviously draft position factors in. It’s going to get Leonard more attention naturally.

Leonard is probably a player who has decent upside but is more of a higher floor with great intangibles that’ll have a lot of playoff value and Hutson is the “he could become a superstar in the league” type. But maybe I’ll be wrong.

I think Leonard will end up a hybrid of TJ Oshie and Brady Tkachuk, scoring 30/40/70+, while Hutson has the potential to be as dominating as his brother... ending up a 60-70 point defenseman who logs 24 minutes a night. So, I definitely see your point. Of course, Leonard could overachieve and end up like Matt Tkachuk and score 40/60/100, but I'm not banking on that, tbh.

Starting around 51:30, good info on Cole Hutson, apparently he's the one who saw something in the Cornell PK and pointed it out in between periods that led to his PP goal. Interesting stuff.

After his slow start to the season, Cole has now matched Lane's freshman year PPG. 46 points in 37 games for Cole vs 48 points in 39 games for Lane.

The brothers' progression may not be comparable considering what Lane's currently doing in the NHL, but this is very promising.
