Reminds me of a slightly lesser Zac Jones with not as good of skating.

He's one of the better puck-moving D in the class, high IQ, few mistakes, very accurate passes. Excellent breakouts and sure-handed carrying the puck up the ice, very effective in transition. Defensive play not terrible, probably average. He's always playing a very direct style, seems to lack creativity and doesn't shot very much.

Doesn't seem to be getting any attention in rankings (#193 in central scouting) but looks like a solid pick for the the second half of the draft.

My scouting report from his USHL season.

5’11 left-shot defenseman. Pretty much the replacement level player in most areas other than he’s a little undersized. He’s also one of the oldest players in the 2023 draft, so I’d consider that into his totals, but he’s scoring at a very good pace for a first time draft-eligible.
