I didn't have a lot of chances for watching him for past two-three years, but he thought to be very good offensively skilled. Even his junior coach in Chelyabinsk said that this guy can do things with the puck that most of forwards can not. Also he had good wjc-u18 in pair with Sergachyov when he was younger then most of the team.
Though he did not get chances at very passive-style Chelyabinsk teams and decided to move to USHL. Did anyone watched him this year? How does he look at smaller rinks against faster and bigger guys?

Alexander Yakovenko

Signed with Jukurit in Finland this offseason and looks like he is doing not too bad there: 5G+16A in 34 games so far this season.

Wouldnt be shocked to see a team take a flier on him this offseason. Id say the sharks but im not sure an offensive LHD should be a euro signing target

What's the story on this guy. Seems to do well offensively in every league he plays. Is he that bad defensively?

He was pretty bad at his own end back in the days (not aware about how it is now) and also had physicality issues due to modest size.

Btw, his goal from a recent game:
