A bit above where I would maybe would have him but I like that you have Broberg high.

Conversely, why so low on Nick Robertson?

Snoozing on ohl's 51 goal scorer Arthur Kaliyev?

And a great list you have. :handclap:
Compete level is a big thing I look for and Kailyev’s isn’t there. Still has great upside though and his playmaking ability is underrated. He follows me on Instagram as well which is pretty cool

I’m not sure what Robertson is at the next level, he’s a tough player to rank for me. I come away impressed with every viewing though, he’s a guy that can absolutely break out next year

Could you go in depth with the Tomasino ranking because I don’t see it at 11th overall? He is a 3rd line player for me.

Good read.

I think your summary of Cozens is pretty much what i watched live this year. I think his package will see him go higher and i do believe he will be smarter than Puljujarvi when it comes time to adjust his game but your reasoning is rock solid as it is on all the WHL guys based on what they have shown to date for that matter. Watching Dach at near ice level a few times this year was impressive. Incredibly smart IceQ

I also agree on Broberg. When is the last time we saw a player with those kind of skills with that physical package compete and skating not put it together and be an impact player? He's obviously looked a little like a dear in the headlights at 17 trying to sift through pro defenses and formations but i get the feeling with some seasoning a lot of teams will be regretting overlooking him if he falls into the teens. He's a upper level skater if he stepped in today......at worst he's a Darnell Nurse for me which is a pretty damn good player.

Any takes on Teply and Lundmark......a couple players im extremely high on based on their rankings?

What about him looks like a future 3rd liner? I see a potential top line RW in Tomasino

I said this in another post but he started off in the 80s but worked his way up to 11 for me, I’ve seen the most progression in Tomasino’s game than any other draft eligible prospect. He’s aggressive on the forecheck and is responsible defensively. His offensive game is well rounded, he’s a shoot first player and he gets his shot off so quickly, it already has power too. He has a high IQ as well and his playmaking is underrated, he can dish some nice sauces on either hand. His 5v5 production is also very good iirc. My only concern for him would be that he scores mostly off the rush, needs to have a better East-West game and I do see how that might make some people weary of his upside. I like that he slowly became a line driver over the course of the year though and also shot more

Teply had a bad second half and didn’t impress at tournaments. Don’t see much upside in him but I was a big fan of him early on. Good net front presence and has a good shot. Could maybe be a complimentary middle sixer

Lundmark is a pretty safe prospect, don’t see him as a top 4 but I think he can be a good fringe/bottom line defenseman. Nothing really stands out

I realized posting new rankings nearly every month was pointless. I’ve pretty much seen all I’ve needed to see and this list took a while to complete. I may add scouting reports for the top 62 and/or a mock draft later on and I’ll bump the thread if I do. Any questions/thoughts/feedback feel free comment

I like that he’s aggressive defensively and is physical despite being 170 lbs, once he bulks up he’ll be very good in his own end. He also has high end speed and good IQ

I like Broberg in the top 10.
I think Tomasino is too high. Cozens is too low. I will bet you he goes top 10. Probably pushes Broberg down.
Not a huge Suzuki fan but he will go in the 1st
Afanasyev is too high and I am a fan.

I agree that Cozens goes top 10 and that Suzuki goes in the first. This is my opinion of them though, this isn’t projecting where they go. My mock draft will be added likely on draft day along with the scouting reports for the top 62. Might also add a few other things as well

Hugo Alnefelt? Big reason Sweden won U18 gold.
I don’t rank goalies. I said it earlier but from what I’ve seen, Knight is my number 1 and Trent Miner might be my number 2. There’s a few other guys I like as well like Portillo and Konovalov but I don’t watch goalies as much to rank them all properly. I also don’t think you can rank goalies among skaters

Great work, much appreciated my man. Based on this list (and the differing opinions that have come from them) it's looking like one of the best and deepest draft classes in awhile

Thanks! It’s an average draft in my opinion, next year is the year to look out for though. 2020 is stacked

I’m not a fan of Spence’s game. I think he has a low IQ and he has the tendency to make very dumb mistakes. In every viewing I had of Spence I came away with a bad impression, I’ve seen 5 games of Spence and 3 of Siedem’s. Spence reminds me a lot of Neal Pionk, even if he makes the NHL, I don’t want him on my team. Siedem is defensively sound and was 3rd in scoring for draft eligible dmen in the USHL, while playing on a meh team that doesn’t score much. He has a great frame to build into and he’s already defensively responsible. I think Siedem’s offensive upside is untapped and that developing at Harvard will only boost his stock

Out of every draft eligible I think Tomasino has developed the most this season. I think he was in my 80s earlier on and just forced his way up

I talked about Cozens a few posts above but Dach has higher offensive upside. Cozens screams Puljujarvi 2.0 with his tunnel vision, lack of a East/West game, and an inability to be effective in small spaces. For Cozens to create offense I’ve noticed he needs space. He’s not a quick thinker like Dach. I also think that while Cozens’ shot is very good in junior, it’ll have trouble in the NHL due to Cozens not being able to get it off fast enough. He skates around easily in junior and while it sounds like I’m hating on him, he doesn’t do much with the puck and I’ve noticed how bad his passing is. I’ve seen a lot of pucks die on his stick when they shouldn’t have as well. Dach also improved his skating and shot by a lot this season where as I haven’t noticed improvements in Cozens game

Broberg’s has one of the highest upsides in the class due to his skating, size, and shot. He’s pretty good defensively as well

I'm not saying that I think Broberg is overrated personally. I just meant I've seen write ups and other commenters list him as a prospect with higher bust potential but I don't know enough to have an opinion about him.

I do think maybe Seider is the one I'm hoping is there for Vegas to draft with our pick rather than Soderstrom or Broberg.

Very good list even through the later rounds. The one prospect that catches my eye is Beecher being so low.

Update-I have updated my list with my thoughts on my top 75. I shuffled a handful of guys around since I posted this list, most notably Misyul jumping to 21 and Lassi Thomson jumping to 25. Both were early 2nds for me but as I was writing my thoughts about each I thought both were 1st round caliber.
