I don't believe Utah wants to move Lawson Crouse, but I'd be curious to see what others teams' fans see as his value.

Great size, always a league leader in hits, and a good bet for 20G/45P. Signed through the next 2 years at just $4.3 million.

In the event Utah were to move Crouse, I'd think it would be for immediate help at RD or centre, rather than a package of futures.

What would your team offer for Lawson Crouse?

Big tough guys who can score are hard to find in this league. He is extremely valuable so he would be way more expensive then his point totals suggest.

draft pick value would probably be 10-15th pick depending on the quality of the draft.

I really don't see how a trade would work because Utah is trying to get better and compete but the teams that would be trading for him would be offering a high prospect to get better now.

in my view I don't see Utah being in the "trad good player for quality prospect who might be good in 2-3 years" anymore.

Hes not going to be an all situations player for the Rangers

So Utah should take on Trouba's contract for him?

If Utah puts Crouse on the market they can likely get a 1st + +.

Trouba would be an 8 million dollar third pairing D for them when healthy.

Deal makes absolutely no sense.

Trouba is more than a third pairing D, 2nd pairing, yes.

Just like Crouse is a 2nd/3rd liner. Playing up due to a lack of options.

Futures aren’t too appealing here. Utah has so many futures. The burn it down and collect picks and prospects portion of the rebuild is over. Think more a Johansen/Jones trade as a comparable here.

Trouba for Crouse.

Limited player for limited player.

I think Lawson Crouse has considerably more value than Trouba.

If I were Utah, I would be expecting a large addition to that offer to even begin to take it seriously.

He's not going to be a Ranger at all for that ridiculous offer.

Crouse on the Rangers would actually make me scared. It would definitely cost more then Trouba though. Having Crouse in the playoffs would be like having Kreider on two lines.

why are we comparing Utah's and the Wids wingers in a trade thread?
Look a little higher in the reply, someone said:

"Just like Crouse is a 2nd/3rd liner. Playing up due to a lack of options."

Then someone said:

"Utah has the best winger group in the league lol."

Basic stuff lmao.

Tells me you have no idea how good Clayton Keller is.
Yes, I haven't seen a lot of play from Keller. Just not a fan of smallish winger. Maybe I underrate him because of his size but I prefer what Boldy brings. Plus Boldy is 3 years younger and still has room to improve.
