Crouse is a real solid NHL player that would be good in a playoff setting. Turcotte is an underwhelming AHL player.
Arizona may have no interest.
You forgot the part where there's a 5 year difference and that Turcotte is outperforming Crouse's AHL season at the same age even with the injuries and lack of opportunity.
But there are similiarities in the gritty games and the formerly-high-pick that fell out of favor with most.
Also, Crouse had 13 points last year. I know his game isn't in raw production; neither is Turcotte's. There's nothing that would suggest zero interest and I'd like to think a 23 year old Turcotte could do at least that.
