At the beginning of the season -- when I thought that Kulich was going to become a slightly more physically involved version of Victor Olofsson......I would have said that we'd need to add something to get Crouse.
BUT
Kulich has looked strong enough at center this year that it's a distinct possibility that he can be an effective 2C in the NHL. I know taking faceoffs is one of many aspects of being an NHL center -- but he's come in at 20 years old and put up a 53% FO percentage....which is impressive given how young guys tend to STRUGGLE at the dot.
As much as I think Crouse is a strong candidate for a bounce-back away from Utah.....I think I hold onto Kulich, especially with Cozens driving the struggle bus in Buffalo at center.
Value doesn't seem far off though.
