I'd almost rather see Mailloux be 0.5 PPG but adequate defensively. The defensive game was poor in the OHL and it's still not good enough for AHL top pair. The offensive game is extremely intriguing but he's got a massive mountain to climb to be a top 4 dman.

13 of the first 26 picks that year were defensemen, another was a goalie. JP Dumont and Daniel Briere were also drafted but did not play as long as Matt Cullen, 20 years+!!!!
