Confirmed with Link: Laval sign pto NCAA player Mark Estapa

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

His stats are super bad.
Beside Tuch, anyone in Rocket is injured ?

He's a physical guy that can take faceoffs, he's not there to be a scorer.

There are several injuries, but like Dineen he is unlikely to play much this year.

Both are "train with the team and maybe you get offered something for next year" deal.

Exactly, with all the injuries this year, the organization is well aware of the need to have players on AHL 2 way deals that can be stashed in 3R. A move like this is just an attempt to get a head start on that. You are not getting the top FA's to come on deals like that, they need an NHL deal or they look elsewhere.

The connection is they went to watch Hage a bunch and this guy caught their eye as a depth forward. Not much to complain about he doesn't even have a contract.

Never was impressed by Estapa. Not even sure he's AHL worthy. But right now, just there to be a 4th liner that can hit. But nothing important to see here.

Here's a reason why highlights don't always show the whole story...lol

Condotta had better stats. I would be surprised if he is even good enough to be 4th liner in the AHL.
Only in his last year.

Estapa had a role and from what I gathered he did it pretty well.

It's very hard to judge guys like Estapa in a league like the NCAA so we'll just have to wait and see.

I'm sorry, I follow the Habs closely, and I was unaware - there is ANOTHER Hutson?

They are 4 brothers.

Habs have Lane.

His older brother Quinn is an undrafted 23 years oldd winger for Boston U. He is finishing his 3rd year in the NCAA so he could turn pro or go back for another year.

Caps drafted his younger brother Cole last summer in the 2nd round. Also an undersized offensive D and should be good, but less than Lane so far. He also plays for Boston U.

Finally, there's the youngest brother Lars (16 years old) who played a few games in the USHL this year. He's also a defenceman.
