Can’t believe Hughes is satisfied when he’s watching Laval play. Nevermind wins and looses, they just don’t play the style of hockey that the organization wants to play. They look like a Michel Therrien’s team, grind these guys!!!

3-7-3 is totally unacceptable and why I think sending Slaf down there is a strategically stupid idea.

Houle and his minions are not prepping the kids for the next level.

Still waiting for this Norlinder person to start dominating 😅😅😅😅

2-0 Hershey.

Hershey scores on a PP, on a slapper from the point, with less than 6 minutes to go in the 1st.

Hershey leads it 2-0.

Im with you. But if they’re scared to send prospects in Laval because they won’t develop, it means its time to change the coaching staff

It's amazing how they've regressed since last year. They were winning games at times with essentially an ECHL lineup! Losing Ouellet and Belpidio and getting Bowey was not good. They really have little to no size and aggressiveness in the lineup. RHP has regressed. Teasdale is useless. Mysak probably belongs with the Lions.

It's a real comedy show.

Bourque and Belzile collide behind their net, and one of them stumbles on the net, causing it to fall and hit Poulin on the back of his head.

Luckily, no one got hurt.

That's the problem...none of the draft picks are improving.
You are right, Mysak belongs in 3R.

Bad news bears against the Hershey Bears.
Laval is on the way to an embarrassing loss.
I don't know if this is the best game to pass judgment -- it's their third game in three days. Some of these guys are probably spent.

I look at the overall 3-7-3 more than anything.
I figured as much. I was just trying to say how today's game is not going to be terribly evocative.

End of the 1st period: Laval leads it in shots 12-8 but the Bears have the lead 2-0.

Ylonen is ok, but still disappears a lot. Barron is starting to put up points at least. Norlinder will be back in Sweden at some point I'd bet. I just don't see what the hype was. Mysak wont be an nhler. Simoneau is producing but is probably too small.

This is why the Habs must continue to draft high and aquire elite talent. Otherwise, we're just in for more mediocrity and barely squeeking into the playoffs once in a while. That being said, there are some potentially great players coming soon (I wouldn't say "elite" though)

How much rope does Houle have? Do you think they'd consider a head coaching replacement in-season?

When you have a dcore composed of Leskinen Barron Norlinder Beaudin Schueneman, you should generate alot of offense from the backend, its not the case at all.. They rarely join the rush and they are not really dynamic in the ozone, similar to Ducharme and Therrien style of play, but in their defense they didnt have the most mobile dcore

For the first intermission, they had a race involving little kids, probably aged 6 or so, in their electric RAM trucks, circling the ice.

Followed by a fugly mascot shooting stuff in the crowd.

Why I failed to switch channels, is haunting me. :sarcasm:

Rocket on a just completed PP and were so disheveled that they managed no shots on net.

Richard misses a great opportunity, Fucale solid so far.

Rocket once again going on a PP with less than 13 minutes to go in the 2nd. This is the Rocket’s 4th PP of the game.

I think Barron will make it because he is too talented not to.
Ylonen is the type of player who will be more effective in the NHL. Nothing special by any means though.

Hershey scores with 1:59 to go in the 2nd, now lead it over the Rocket, 3-0.
