Solid road game, boys looked a little gased but still battled hard and were close to getting things tied but just came up short this time.
Can't fault Dobes on the 1st goal, the 2nd you would like to see him get but the 3rd he needs to find a way to stop those in the future and that ended up being the difference in what was a tight game.
I thought Roy had a solid game and created some things, he's so smart and skilled with just great timing but also knows he has to get rid of the puck very quickly as he just does not have the speed to separate himself and once caught he's going to struggle to keep the puck.
Mailloux continues to produce which is of course a great sign for such production while being a 20 year old rookie blueliner that missed 2 years of development time. Very impressive when you add in he's already got several NHL tools. Hope they don't rush him as he could be their best chance at a real star player though I am not sure if the offense is that good but a Hutson Mailloux PP would be sick to see. 6 pts in the last 7 gms, 25 pts in the last 31. Very impressive.
Dobes losses in regulation for just the 2nd time since 11-17, when he had 5 losses in regulation at that point. Crazy turnaround for him overall.
Heineman with some good and some not so good tonight, that pass between his legs in his own end that almost lead to a goal, that would have been an ugly one.
I thought Mysak and Davidson played solid, too bad the skating/speed isn't there as they work hard for sure.
