Kidney with 4 pts in his last 5 games (tonight's game still going on). He has 5 pts on the season, but they're in the last 10 games.

Also, Gignac scores to make it 2-1. Galipeau with 2 assists so far.

Habs wanted to sign Galipeau, but he chose the Bruins org. Now he's with the Habs

They wanted to sign him when he was done in the Q

That was one of Laval's best periods this season. Roy is finding pro hockey a bit tougher than he thought. He is pretty invisible on the road.

Yup. They wanted to sign him to an ECHL deal. And he was set to sign. But Bruins came in and offered him an AHL deal. So he ended up going there right before camps were to start.

But even while with the Bruins, he played in the ECHL. After a few seasons at Fort Wayne (where he won the Kelly Cup) he finally signed with a Habs' affiliate.

I still hear JiC going nuts after Roy started hot that Habs need to call him up. And he said it like 20 times a show the first few weeks of the season. 🤣

Houle must be pissed Mysak keeps scoring
I don’t give 2 flying hecks about career ahlers. Mysak, Kidney and Davidson should be getting real playing time.

Mysak’s stock may have plummeted in the last few years but he’s still a fricken 2nd rounder. One of his big weaknesses was skating and from what VU saw in preseason he looked pretty fast to me.

This year and even more so next year we’re gonna have a glut of prospects joining Laval who actually have a shot. We gotta deal away some vets on the Habs and not quite sign so many AHL vets. Gotta give the proper prospects a chance

I think it is always premature to say a guy is ready after 5-6 games in the AHL. Let him figure out this level, there's no rush to get him in the NHL.

Mysak and Kidney are heating up now, I guess we shouldn't just assume whoever Houle scratches is actually bad?

Galipeau matches his entire seasons worth of points last year in 10 games. I would guess Norlinder is going to be scratched for these AHL vets when he's sent back down.

Why is Stephens in the shootout? he is never going to score. he needs 10 scoring chances to score once.

Kidney with 3 goals in the last 5 games, did not see that coming.

Galipeau is read hot with 7 pts last 6 gms. 9 pts in 10 games, he had 9 pts all of last year (45 gms)

Gignac continues to produce like he has all season long. I missed last game so not sure why Houle broke up the Farrell Gignac Roy line but after having the 2 rookies on different lines he put them back but this time with Condotta who they first started out with.

Mailloux went flying from a hit, you don't often see the big guy get air like that.

Not a great night for Farrell as like Kidney, Roy, Mysak, you see at times they are just overmatched physically and easily pushed off pucks. They are where they should be, I hope it stays that way for now.

I missed this one but I felt his two previous games were weak. I certainly expected more of an impact from the player.
