The things Laval can do Montreal can not do.
Vincent has them playing a better "Our Hockey" brand than Marty can expect from his plodders.
Mind you Providence are turtles but Laval jumped every gap all the time.
So as much as some player looked great it doesn't mean they will look great in Montreal.
I'm still trying to determine what game we are supposed to be playing in Montreal.

We didn't see the real Mailloux in camp. We saw the kid who came in trying to play more defense instead of just playing his game. He will learn
Yes, but you can bet your ass he’s told every other week he needs to improve defensively to get in the NHL.

High danger scoring chances we were 18-6 with Mailloux on the ice in preseason. That’s why he thought he did good and was surprised to be cut…because he thought that’s what he was supposed to show them.

He’s better then Barron both side of the ice.

Gotta love Tuch! It was he’s first fight of his life and fought a long time ahl goon. He’ll learn and he’ll keep making hits. Can’t wait to see him in MTL.

Arseneau should have jump that Vieil.

If Arseneault is not fighting the other teams heavy weight he's useless.

Good to see a bunch of young guys in the score sheet. It was very depressing last year to see AHL vets in on every goal knowing there's no immediate reinforcements for the big club coming.

Don't be surprised if Vincent is the internal successor for Marty too when we leave development mode. Shot were 39 to 14, not something Laval was doing last year.
