They can send Heineman or ABB to Laval.

Yeah Mesar has improved alot in the span of a few weeks. And i believe he was playing nervous tonight. I think he can do better.

Mesar has had hot starts both D+ years if I"m not mistaken.
Still, no one should be too surprised if he puts up some good numbers. I've been a fan for the most part though I'm skeptical about him long term. Too many on here talk like he's a bum though. He's had enough spurts and possible decent enough excuses for his not so hot production.
Consistency is the big thing. Kid has to put it all together. Good start though.

After 1 game, Mailloux is on pace for 288 pts and Mesar is on pace for 216 pts.

Absolutely but Mailloux is a pretty good prospect and i think he is undervalued by many of our fans.
We didn't see the real Mailloux in camp. We saw the kid who came in trying to play more defense instead of just playing his game. He will learn

But hockey is the least of Roy's concerns.
So important to note.. if every player "simply" followed the percentages they effectively become a cog in the wheel. It is imperative each and every player offers a different attribute to the collective..
Atm, im still somewhat unsure what exactly Mailloux's extra specialty is... is he a mean mofo, a heavy shot from the point, a pmd, a defensive specialist, etc...?
He needs to establish his extra specialty and identity, and soon... at his age it is imperative that when he gets called up (and he will) he leaves his mark.. it's time, we've been more tha patient with him, it's do ir die this year - and i hope he rises to the occasion as RHDs are a serious issue for us.

I'm sorry, I had a few drinks, but this a whole lot of garbage.
Mailloux is a PMD, AND a heavy shot from the blue line, AND a physical presence. Not everyone fits into a clean cut mold.
Mailloux's problem isn't skill or smarts, it's experience. He barely played junior level at all! He needs another year or two in the A and he'll be a good one.
And he's 21, he's far from a do or die situation lmao.

He has a lot of the right tools he has grown on me a lot. What's not to like? He will at least attempt to do it all, its ok if he makes mistakes.
