Been saying for a while they should play X with Beck and Davidson, hope this game help Vincent realize that this kid should have more offensive responsability.

Good game for Farrell and Engstrom too. It's good that we have a deeper lineup this season and it's going to get even deeper with Gignac and Mesar coming back soon. ABB and Roy have gone a bit cold.

A bit is being kind.
I liked RHP's game he had some jump this afternoon.

I dunno I think Beck needs at least one winger who can skate with him I've always seen Tuch as a better option.
Beck with one of Roy or Davidson and Tuch.
I could also see Florian Beck and Tuch working but they really want Beck and Flojack to develop at center so it's never going to happen.

I’m glad they’re playing him as a C

I see him more as a winger power forward in the NHL, could be a very good 3rd or 4th liner, also easier to throw heavy check being on the wings whitout the center responsability

Beck is defenitely a center as for X i really think he would fit better as a winger in the NHL

You may be right I saw him as a winger as well.
I thought he looked terrible at center in camp but he had a great start in Laval and was definitely a go to guy for Vincent at the time.

I defenitely see him as a future bottom six forward with the Habs and would love to see him getting more offensive opportunity in Laval, dont really care if it is as a center or on the wings but he should play with better offensive guy imo.

For him, it's mainly a matter of becoming a reliable player in general. Pair that with his intangibles as a shit disturber, his size and deep game, we have a heck of a 4th liner, maybe a bit more.

I say he's 2 years away.
Agreed. I’ve also watched quite a bit of Laval. He needs to work on his skating but the snarl and fearlessness are there. He’s only played like 25 pro games. He needs a bit more seasoning but I think he’ll play for habs. Someone mentioned (forgot who) they see him as a Adam Lowry type of player
