Its more professional so difference won't be this huge. They may be the favourite but more like 5-1 games than 9-1.

Dallas was destroyed lately 7-0 by "the most uninteresting team in the league" Minnesota, and it's a very good team with very good defense and one of the best goalie duo in the league. It's just sometimes shit happens to any team.

Meanwhile the Japanese girls have won gold after demolishing every opponent. Anyone explain this? Seriosly how is this possible
No clue but incredible. They beat everyone by at least 3 goals. Goal difference 18-3. Gold wasn't a fluke, they beat the Czechs and Sweden. Also Slovakia and Switzerland.

Not only they beat them, but they were like a class better than the rest.
Japan has nearly twice as much registered hockey players as Slovakia, so maybe they are all girls lol :D

Over the course of 3 years of seeing his work, Filatov has to be the best Russian coach to come along since Tarasov. We'll see what happens in the Gold Medal Game, but Filatov must have caught someone's attention in the RHF by now. I get the impression he could take the teams that Russia has put on the ice in the U20 the past two years and win Gold medals with both. Time for a promotion?

It does not matter how good these young Russians are. They will leave to North America at 17-18 and their careers will be ruined. All of them.
