Lmao why would the Flyers not wanna trade with the leafs?

Don’t see any reason Philly would be rushing to trade him to the leafs unless they receive a good offer. They can probably trade him for at least a 2nd/3rd + prospect type package to any number of willing contenders so the onus would be on the leafs to make it worth it for Philly

I think middle 6 is pretty self explanatory as 2nd line / 3rd line center. I said my ideal target is that type. No idea what is available so that is why I am categorizing it

I didn’t mean to imply that Philly wouldn’t trade with the leafs or charge them more.

I’m saying they can likely get the 2nd/3rd plus prospect type offers from any number of contenders between this year’s trade deadline, the offseason, and next year’s trade deadline. Philly aren’t in a rush to trade him and ANY team that wants him will probably have to overpay a little. Including the leafs.

Didn’t mean to imply Philly wouldn’t trade with the leafs. Far from it. Just that they’re in no rush to trade a player they value for a package they can likely get from any number of teams before his contract expires next season. Any team that wants him probably has to beat out similar package offers

Next year? assuming he comes out of camp healthy he's probably on the team.
