Couple of things I've noticed:

Cowan is probably going to bust at the NHL level. I don't like his game at all and I doubt it translates beyond junior.

The team leaving Yakemchuk and Parekh at home is still insane to me. Yak probably would've been this team's best player lol. Unreal.

Regardless of the outcome tonight, I'm not worried.

Latvias goalie stood on his head and deserves player of the game honours. Although I thought he was soft on that first Canada goal.

And this wouldn't be the first time Canada underperformed against a lesser team in this tournament. They've done it in tournaments they've both won and lost. It can either discourage them or ignite a flame.
