Guessing Ullmark starts for us, Joseph Daccord expected for Seattle.

Daccord will be tough to beat I imagine.
I can’t believe Dorion gave away two eventual-top 10 goalies away in the span of 12 months. Masterclass.
Ehh I don’t know if I agree with that. He did decent in Belleville in a shitty situation and did put up .933 in 9 games for the Sens in 2021 (small sample size). The potential was always there. He was going to lose either Daccord or Gus to Seattle and had no way out of that. The Gus for Talbot trade was not good though but Gus would never have emerged under a Dorion led franchise.

Which one would you have protected in the expansion draft.I can’t believe Dorion gave away two eventual-top 10 goalies away in the span of 12 months. Masterclass.
You could only protect one goalie. He did have avenues to keep both, but none of them were that good at the time. He could have left Colin White and Logan Brown unprotected. At the time, both were likely still seen as more valuable than Daccord. They might not have been seen as more valuable than Gustavsson.
Daccord had some fanfare as prospect, but he wasn't a blue chip goalie prospect. He even passed through waivers two years ago. Granted, it was during training camp when it is easier to sneak players through, and his 1-way contract with term likely dissuaded some teams from taking him.

Who were you protecting instead of the ones they did protect.I never suggested that they could protect two.
I suggested that they could have left what at the time may have been more tempting pieces unprotected to lower the likelihood of Daccord being selected.
I hate it when they call it "Ice Hockey".It’s not a “game night’ it’s an ‘Ice Hockey Match’
The structure of the Sens' play was absolutely phenomenal. Minus the result lmaooo.
