Knoblauch needs to use the players he has. Been very frustrated with double standards for different players. Focus is to win a cup as a team, about time coaching starts trying to do that.

Yup, coaching has arguably been the weakest spot on the team this season. Some roster flaws and poor goaltending have been magnified by puzzling player use and refusal to adjust systems to the players’ strengths

If they underperform the rest of the season / playoffs, let’s hope he does some serious reflection on his end

The boots can sometimes go up to the knee . Different types. Not fun, speaking from some experience.

That's a fair point, but isn't that something that would make you wonder if you were the one who was wrong? It's just that Knoblauch has more information than we have and more experience. The puzzling moves might be connected to things like work put in off the ice, or benchmarks that aren't met, like commitment to two-way play.

Pretty sure this may be the last few months in the show for Knoblauch. If they get bounced quickly this season hell be less hirable than jay woodcroft.

Reason given is that JSkinner is a east west player where Knob prefers a north south player ala MaxJones.

As I said earlier I think part of the reason was they wanted him to wave his NMC. So it's pretty likely this will end as long as he keeps up the good play.

But I will ask you... in the words of coach Knoblauch: "who is he elevating!?" I guess the stat kind of captures that. But I want names.

I don't mind Pods as a third wheel, but please, give Draisaitl someone that can score or at least make plays on the other wing. If J.Skinner isn't an option, maybe move RNH or Hyman down from McDavid's line. It's not like the first line is lighting the league on fire. Hell, I'd even take Henrique or Perry in that spot over f***ing snowpants. I think even Max Jones would be better.

Hopefully Walman gets the opportunity to play at least 2nd pairing soon. Would be a shame to under utilize a top pairing D'man. Knob is famous for it tho.
