Last time USA men won anything?

They've improved on paper, but they haven't improved whatsoever in terms of actual results and at the end of the day that's really all that matters. Moral victories of being better on paper ultimately means nothing if they still can't get the job done at the mens level. Please don't take it personally.
I don’t agree with this. If you lose a game 10-1 five years ago and lose 1-0 five years later, you have improved.

The US are icing extremely competitive teams that will only improve in the future. They’re 10x the population of Canada and it only makes sense that you’d see a big increase in quality.
 
Not sure how you can look down at your competition when it takes OT to decide things. I'm guessing that is the purpose of this thread.
I am not partisan in this. I am Swedish and although we have like 6 million swedish people (the newcomers do not play hockey) We still manage to win here and there and its not even our main sport either which is football (Soccer for muricans )
