I'm expecting a timid uneventful game based on the amount of anticipation. That being said, I fully expect Arber to be ejected in the first 10 minutes.

Arber needs to have a mistake free, puck moving game.

Yeah it's a no brainer to shorten the pre season and add 2 more regular season games. Owners can charge much more for those games too and it's never a bad thing when you replace meaningless games with meaningful games. This should have been done a while ago.

I have no issues dressing mostly AHL guys. We lost 2 key players in a meaningless game last week. I'd rather not risk playing them in a game that has zero stakes in it. I think if people are upset at us dressing AHL guys then blame the league, the pre season should be one week and that's it.

There should be an obligation to shorten the roster before the preseason games start.

Like the limit of players is 27 and that's it.

1- Drop it down to 3 or 4 preseason games
2- Do a longer rookie tournament where to evaluate the kids
3- A 28 man roster only allowed in preseason games
4- Don't use natural rivalry. For the Habs play games against Pittsburgh, NJ, Carolina or Columbus

The preseason has become as useless as can be and this game is a proof of it.
There's a group wanting to showoff and another group just stretching their legs, that's why there's so many injuries around the league.

Newhook - Kapanen - Roy could be a 3rd line for a long time, or at least until Hage comes to the NHL. If Kapanen does well at C this year, maybe Dvo finally gets bumped to the wing!

Gallagher - Evans - Anderson is what I have penciled in as our eventual 4th line this year. But I hope he and Roy get each other going.
