Too bad for the Sens fans that have to drive all the way out the wasteland that is Kanata to watch their farm team.
It is ridiculous to pay for pre season tickets now. Half the tiime the home team shits on their fans and doesn't ice any NHL players. Icing a lot of prospects that mike make the team in the future is one thing. Dressing a lot of worthless wastes like Pare is an insult to the home fans. If people stopped buying tickets they would make changes.

Kanata is fine.

It's the further east you go in the city the worse it becomes.

Though, Giroux got his cat stolen from his house in Kanata.
That damn cat tore up all my furniture.

Not going to lie, not impressed by MSL on that one.

Begging your GM to call the opposing team.

Sitting some of your high profile guys who have barely played this preseason.

Not even having announced the starting lineup like... 4 hours before puck drop.

This is a p***y attitude from A to Z.
Yeah, would be better to lose key players to injury in the preseason.

I agree with you but I think it’s to increase and have a balance of in division games.

I could see an 84 game schedule being:

- 2 games against teams from the other conference (32 games total)

- 3 games against teams from the other division in a team’s conference (24 games total)

- 4 games against teams within a team’s division (28 games total)

This is what they are rightly going for. :thumbu:

Works but for the fact they'll keep jamming more teams down our throats as long as there are billionaires willing to pay the expansion fee.

Can't wait for the 40 team, 100 game league where there's 5-10 really good teams, 10 teams tanking for a superstar to make them a really good team, and 20-25 teams who are just kind of there.

That's mostly on Kent Hughes for having too much softness on the roster.
That team needed to get one 4th liner that actually plays like a 4th liner, instead of coming up with a total random mishmash of players who aren't good enough for the Top-9 of a team that's not particularily deep at forward.

Senators would rather goon it up instead of establishing chemistry as a middle of the pack team. Very smart team there.

Was the Oilers 4th line really much tougher than ours last year?

In the Playoffs, their 10-14 forwards in ice time:
Brown, Holloway, Perry, Ryan, Carrick

& It's not like they had much toughness in their top 9 or on D either.

The Panthers had a more physical group of depth forwards, but they also played them a lot less.

Those teams were Stanley Cup Finalists. It's safe to say we aren't there yet.
The Oilers 4th line DID have 4th players playing like 4th liners. They also weren't in the NorthEast division.

At the end of last year, there was talk of them restarting the rebuild since they finished bottom 10 again and then they hired Travis Green...
