Broken record and all but this game's reffing was so one-sided I can't get my head around it. It was honestly worse than Boston 2019.

Some of the kids look pretty good, but some of them struggle defensively. These two games were most important for Scott Morrow, and he didn't do himself any favors in them. I see him playing in the minors another year.

I want Koochie to start at home, He plays well in Raleigh

I think there's a lot of overreaction to tonight's game.

We scored 5 goals, despite not having half our regular lineup. The defensive breakdowns and the goaltending isn't anything to worry about, because again, we had a lineup that was bits and pieces.

Fixing mistake here as I originally put we were essentially playing 5D with burns only taking a shift… but we had 11/7 and then were down to 11/6 and only short a forward once Burns played a shift and then sat the rest of the game…

with half our regular 6 nhl dmen playing and mixed up pairings and roles for the night, not to mention a wildly out of whack forward lines, there were so many missed assignments and mixups from players playing more prominent roles than they ever normally do plus unfamiliarity with each other causing major issues…. I was surprised we were up 5-3 going into the third…. We didn’t even remotely play like normal, we had players that went to different spots without the puck because they just couldn’t skate to the normal spots, we were pressured on the puck more easily. It was more like a preseason game in ma lot of respects before we do our specific system stuff… so because it was a nothing game I shouldn’t react at all or draw any conclusions even the one below…….. but I will and can be criticized for it

there were some good video moments to highlight and watch back later as to why Morrow as 1RD is so not happening without some crazy evolution between now and the start of next season…. He has such good tools and he is more ready offensively…. I think he will eventually make it and be good for us….. But he got posterized a few times the past few games and just looks out of his element again on the defensive side not able to do the things we need our dmen to do… he needs more time for the defensive side of things to develop before he is playing first or second pairing minutes for us regularly…

Im really trying to ignore officiating… But wow was that rough….

I also had a very successful night for my job. Yeah, the amount of penalties in the game was...crazy...but a great game for us to test the puck possessor on the Powerplay. Personally, I'm still not a fan of it, but what the higher up bosses want, they get

We played 5D with Burns on the bench after 20 sec to extend his streak (games like today are meaningless but at the same time not cool that he took a spot from a Wolves player getting an NhL game just so Burns can keep his streak going… but I digress). and there were so many missed assignments and mixups from players playing more prominent roles than they ever normally do plus unfamiliarity with each other causing major issues…. I was surprised we were up 5-3 going into the third….
