And your point is.... ? Crosby is a superstar and Finland has none. That was actually my point. Finland had a bunch of grinders and KHLers, and this superstar wouldn't have been a top-10 scorer in that team.

Sample size is small, yes, and 3 points in Sochi doesn't make Crosby less star player, but it tells that even star like Crosby can't often dominate even against weaker opposition (Austria, Norway, Finland, Latvia) with 1st grade line mates. Superstar status doesn't mean that Crosby is some god on ice when compared to others.

I have no idea what Crosby would have done on Finland, and neither do you. I suspect he would have had more than three points, but that is beside the point. As is your whole post. Superstars don't automatically decide tournaments... obviously. Hockey is very much a team game. The last time Crosby played in this tournament he was not a superstar, though he was the leading scorer with 16 points at only 18 years old... and without any linemates remotely resembling a superstar.
