To be honest, GMBA has brought in real good, proven and successful people for the FO and hockey operations. I wanted Davidson, but Pleau is a really good hire. It's nice that despite tanking Armstrong is able to bring in good people.
Nice try, but doing nothing would be an improvement on the franchise's history of self-sabotage.A 7 figure salary that will do nothing for this team.
He had the same advisory role with the Blues. Life in Scottsdale must have won out.

Most know you build a team through the draft, and hopefully get lucky with trades, to go along with a few good free agent signings. This is why BA is surrounding himself with successful proven people at their job in the scouting arena. Time will tell if BA is a good GM, but surrounding himself with good people is a hell of a start. Getting all this draft capital is nice, but it's what you do with it that matters. Our previous GM didn't understand that. Not really. He's been far more involved with the Blues scouting department than anything. Since Jarmo Kekalainen left the Blues; Pleau has unofficially been in charge of running the end of year meetings with the Scouts and setting up our Draft board. In fact, he really didn't do much else besides that.

US residents hired a 78 year old into the most powerful position the world. His predecessor was 74 when he left office. The Coyote advisor role has slightly less responsibility. I think we’ll be okay.
MODS - this was a point reference comparison and not a political statement.

Kimzey knows his stuff. I will tell you that.
If he says it's true, it is
Ever respect someone and his views, yet always seem to disagree? That is kimsey59 for me.
