If by some miracle we can get through the next 5 games with 7 points we are actually in a surprisingly decent place if things continue in a positive trajectory to finish the month. The last 2 weeks of this month are all games that are winnable even for this franchise. 10 games remaining for the month. Is there any realistic number of points gained in those 10 games that puts us within closing distance of the last wild card spot?

I guess looking at it, unless teams just stop playing it almost seems like we can't get out of this hole no matter how hard you squint and tilt your head. Am I wrong?

Any version of 20 games above .500 gets them to 95 points so 30-10-2 or 29-9-4 or 28-8-6 or...you see where this is going, right?

The key to winning was clearly our top six getting older
Forsberg, Stamkos, Marchessault, Nyquist, O'Reilly, Hinostroza all 30+ ... along with Sissons, Jankowski.
Wilbur and Masonjar said the key is all the insane speed the Milwaukee guys bring to the game.

Josi just can't help himself, he has to stop and look for 5 seconds every time he touches the puck. His stick is where PP's go to die.
Slowly he drifts left. A small flutter of the foot. Slowly he drifts right. He examines the puck on the end of his stick as if it is a new species of life, unknown to science. He looks up. He drifts backwards. He winds up and lets it rip.

Shin pad dies.
