is this a joke with ASP the best D since Orr coming up next year???

still dont even know who this Lane Huston nerd is

I think Axel Sandin-Pellikka will be thrown into a good situation to "try". Idk if he'll do it and I'm not betting on it, but he'll be a guy that'll come in and get good PP time with a team that's got a good PP already.

Most will be like Brock Faber, getting 40-50 points and still be really good for that.

Hutson had a really good season, hopefully he can compound that and keep going forward and not have a huge pull pack next year.

I'm not suggesting anything, but it's hilarious how a record that held for 35 years is being treated like an everyday accomplishment on HFboards if the player broke it wearing a Canadiens sweater.

Lots of people here would rather say he was possessed by Bobby Orr's spirit than admit Hutson is good.

Situation has changed a lot recently from those years. It’s a lot easier for dmen to transition to the NCAA now in the year following their draft. I think we see a lot more young offensive dmen coming into a high scoring league after a year or two polishing their game in college and putting up great numbers.

I think it’s likely one of them will surpass this within the next ten years.

That's how HfB works...anything to diminish a Habs player accomplishment.

I'm a Habs fan, and I voted yes, cause while what Hutson did is exceptional (and it is, whatever naysayers might say), I also believe nothing is ever set in stone, I hope another rookie will beat that 66pts mark, cause records are meant to be broken.

By the time Detroit is tired of telling us the story about how Jeff Petry's Dad played for the Tigers and he's bumped out of the league by ASP, ASP will be 24 years old and put up 120 points as a rookie.
