Wasn’t that long ago when our highest scoring player would get 60 points. Unreal.

I'll drink to that!Wasn’t that long ago when our highest scoring player would get 60 points. Unreal.
Which one?Does he tie the record tonight or *gasp* break it?
Yeah he’s 1 away from 60 and Larry Murphy. I’ll take two assists tonight, but first and foremost I’ll take the winWhich one?
He already broke the Habs dmen rookie record last game and 5th all time.
I think the assist record is still in play?
It is what it is and that is why whenever comparing players from different eras comes up, I groan and leave the room. Raymond doesn't even care about stuff like this, it's more that fans that do.The all time leader is Larry Murphy who played 80 games. Of the 5 guys ahead, 3 including Murphy played 80 games, one played 77. The only guy ahead who has played significantly less games is Leetch at 68 games. But what's really telling is that 4 of the 5 guys ahead of him did in during the high scoring 80s, the only guy who didn't was Bourque whose rookie year was 79-80.
That will most likely be in June so we'll have to see who remembers what. Oh and by the way, it is 4 points in OT when this was discussed but whatever.Next time, tell that guy Hutson has only 3 points in OT and teams were scoring a lot more back then, like one more goal per game per team, giving Hutson a much bigger point share.

That what he said alright.
I bet he’d change his mind real quick if he saw how many assists are secondary
I'm glad he said it because that's how I felt since watchin him in the Juniors. He just plays differently than anyone I've seen.
He looked tired, which is probably why he got caught. 82 games is a grind, especially for a rookie D playing top-4 minutes. Gonna be tough against a big team like the Caps; I just hope he stays safe.He took a couple hard hits tonight which is unusual for him. Thought that last one might have hurt him a bit but he seemed okay. I guess he better get used to it, because playoff hockey is about to have everyone looking to squash him like a bug. lol.
Incredible season for him. Looking forward to seeing what he can do in playoffs.
Hutson tied TWO Murphy records tonight. Assists and even-strenght points.

That ES point record is wild.
More realistically, or closer to us, he could have at least a couple more points had he played PP right off the bat.The weird thing is, he could easily have 20 more points on a better offensive team with his puck possession and scoring chance generated numbers .
