I was more mocking the main board nonsense we’ve been hearing about Hutson since last April and then when you challenge them that’s what they say.

Its not an insult to Hutson to think Celebrini will be the better player.

What Celebrini is doing is special. He's having a slightly worse D+1 season to Matthews and McDavid.

Barkov was always a great prospect, but it took until his D+3 season to look like a top-6 C. When people are hyping up Celebrini its because peak Barkov could be a poor man's Celebrini. Potential perennial Norris contender vs. potential perennial Hart contender.

I still think Celebrini is an amazing player but I really think it'll be neck-in-neck with Hutson. Maybe I'm a homer but what Hutson is doing is equally special and both should be tremendous going forward.

That's fair, but there's no reason to think people are sleeping on Hutson just because they like Celebrini long term more.

That's really cool! I know when I watched BU the two years Lane was there I always thought Quinn stood out. I think there might be something there, pretty awesome for the family that he's going to get to play in the NHL.

He wasn't that bad. Like a lot of his young teammates, he clearly had some jitters.

Playing in Montreal at this time of year with the weight of expectations is no small task... Performing with that kind of energy and emotion bubbling up takes some getting used to.

While some will point to Demidov, reality is that he was playing with less intrinsic pressure than any of his teammates... All of this is gravy for him rather than the last stretch of a gruelling roller coaster ride.

In any case, our core will be better for last night's game. Outcome sucks, but that kind of experience & those kinds of mistakes are what great athletes leverage for growth.

Lol, you go there? I've seen that place, what a bloody freakshow. I get a more interesting exchange between my shepherds and my cockatoo when a goanna comes round the garden.

agreed, he was forcing plays on offence when he was last man back, leading to odd man rushes. Seen him do this at least 3 times yesterday. He needs to know that when he's last man back on the offensive blue line he can't dipssie doodle all around and then force a cross ice pass. Even it it works it's a high risk low percentage play. Chalk it up to learning as he is a young player and experience comes form these types of games played.
