Top 10 D scoring since november 27th. Wow
So many of us, wanted the kid to run the PP since game 1.................but MSL wouldn't do it until game whatever................given our horrible start, you have to wonder if Hutson was given the keys to the city and the PP sooner, how many more points would we and he have??

MT: Lane I want to see you in my office *loud fart*, I didn't like your game tonight. You're soff, individualiss.

LH: But Michel, I ended up with a goal and 4 assists, +5. I was named first star. We won 6-0.

MT: *Blows cigarette smoke in his face* Who da **** do you think you are? You know what, you're not playing tomorrow. Now grab that nail clipper and get down on your knees, you know what to do *shows his disgusting yellow fungus-ridden toenails, farts again*.
LOL.........................ah, da Therrien days!! Where is this clown these days??? Delivering furniture??

Hutson is 6th in points for all defenseman for the whole year (so far). Celebrini is 39th in points for all centers for the whole year (so far). 28th if you look at pts/game. This is a real race for the Rookie of the year and I believe Hutson has the inside edge today.

Keep in mind should the Habs stay “in da mix” Hutson will be playing in more intense conditions (focus of opposition + pressure) that Celebrini won’t have to bear the burden of on his shoulders..potentially artificially inflating his #

Hutson is already playing those tough minutes. Maybe the other teams coach focuses on him more but he's just too smart out there. He's not afraid of contact and he creates his own space. It's well past what I was expecting.

If you want to know how insane Hutson's hockey IQ and vision, just watched Hab's goals number 3 and 4 from last night.

It's unreal. The biggest part to his game is his ability to generate time/space. Then he is able to do those plays you are talking about last night. Heck, he's even doing it in traffic.

I said it before and will say it again... one of the things I do to check blind spots (gullible hype type thingy) is to nit pick flaws. With Hutson, the only thing I can nit pick is to wonder how he looks in the playoffs when there is more clutching and grabbing and more physical play allowed. Sometimes, one big hit can change things. But with Hutson, I think he has been avoiding big hits his entire carreer because he had too (like Caufield). Regardless, this is my next level of evaluation

Hutson dispy doodles, but somehow manages tomapout the ice and everyone on it at the same time.

That's the real talent that enables him to make high end plays in motion.

Unlike Subban (who had more of a physical side to his game), Hutson also doesn't try to force plays all that often, preferring the simple pass (usually directly on the tape of his linemate's blade). That increases the odds of his manoeuvres working when he employs them.

Hutson's CPU is larger than a 6'4, 225lbs D.

it's unreal. I don't see how some people still think we need a #1 defenseman when we have Hutson. He's already one.

Just a few months ago, before the season started, some people here said the Habs had no players or prospects with 1D potential. This was an absurd statement, considering we had Hutson and not many D prospects have looked as dominant as him.

Halfway into his rookie season, Hutson is already or is close to having the impact of a 1D.

Hutson has been playing with more energy since his brother won gold medal at the wjc

It has resulted in him scoring 8 pts in 4 games
