Imagine when our forwards learn how to take more of an advantage of Lane's ability to move the puck to the front of the net. I think we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg in terms of tip ins own goals etc.Imagine if he had a slapper like Souray... That 06/07 season from Souray was legendary. I'll never forget his slapper when he was on a breakaway, such a Souray thing to do.
It's going to be interesting to see which two players Laine will have the most chemistry with. One would think Demidov could have chemistry with anyone. But apparently Laine didn't have chemistry with Gaudreau in Columbus.Imagine when our forwards learn how to take more of an advantage of Lane's ability to move the puck to the front of the net. I miss having someone who can bury one with a slapper from the point. Have we scored any goals like that this year? Feels like Weber was the last one who would score like that.Imagine if he had a slapper like Souray... That 06/07 season from Souray was legendary. The main board.............lolI love it that the main board was clamoring for him to go to the AHL
Laine isn't your prototypical net front player. It's guys like Suzuki Slaf Caufield Dach who can benefit with well timed forays through the crease. It's going to be interesting to see which two players Laine will have the most chemistry with. The top candidates for his two linemates:
Suzuki
Caufield
Slaf
Demidov
Dach
Hage (in 2 years)
I still want to see:
Laine - Suzuki - caufield/Slaf
They need to have Xhekaj work on finding himself a one timer even Mailloux doesn't really use one.I miss having someone who can bury one with a slapper from the point. Have we scored any goals like that this year? Feels like Weber was the last one who would score like that.
Mailloux has a heavy shot, but I would never pair him with Hutson.
What is Reinbacher's shot like?

Another new thread....it's like getting into bed with freshly washed sheets.
The scouting report out of columbus was that Laine likes the puck on his stick and doesn't necessarily play best with other players that also do, like Gaudreau. They said he was actually at his best at C with guys like Olivier.Laine isn't your prototypical net front player. Those tickled vaginas don't know shit.I love it that the main board was clamoring for him to go to the AHL
Yeah I just lost dark mode myself..Not while I am forced to be in light mode. It's like getting into bed with soiled sheets.

Personally I've been liking the new site lol
What a class for rookie defensemen, insane.
- Makar in '20: Kubalik was the best forward, he was 24 and put up 46 pts, Q. Hughes and A. Fox finished 2nd and 4th that year
I was expecting Hutson to be a complete trainwreck in his own end this season. I didn’t know if he was going to be able to stick with the team because of it. I’ve really ate my words on that. He’s really quickly coming into his own faster then I’m sure a lot of people expected. Those tickled vaginas don't know shit.
They compare him to Tyson Barrie and Shayne Ghostisbere.
Get the f*** outta here clowns.
I thought he would get completely overwhelmed in the corners and behind the net particularly if paired with Savard.I was expecting Hutson to be a complete trainwreck in his own end this season.
