And again, a decent portion of "top speed" is based on having the opportunity to really let it fly and get a full head of steam going.

Luke has thankfully been more positionally sound this year and so hasn't needed to really let it rip. (also not on PP1 this year where you get decently consistent opportunities to let it fly)
More excuses, keep it up.

Now you have numerous others accusing you of moving goalposts, besides me, and not just in this thread.

Try a debate where you don’t do it, your opinion will get more respect, and others will listen.

Trying to explain statistics you clearly do not understand.

I'd recommend actually knowing what a statistic means before spouting it.

Anyway, not worth interacting with someone who is so intentionally obtuse, which should have been blatant to me after the penalties discussion where you admitted you don't actually read posts

I’ll be fine thanks, after first, second and third year University courses in Stats,

You should learn which stats are actually relevant.
Try attending a game,
Moving the goalposts gets annoying, making it impossible to have a discussion with you.
I usually stop responding after you move the goalposts again, my bad for hanging on this long.
Obviously new to the game this year, by responses.
Not to mention you love to have the last word, so don’t expect a reply, cheers

Hutson's defence and battle level is atrocious. He is getting man-handled all over the ice from board play to the crease. I feel like he didnt learn anything at BU and they just sort of let him play this rover role which doesnt work in the NHL.

The skills are there for sure but no coach will tolerate his lack of defensive capability and battle level. I;m kinda getting Victor Mete vibes.

Don't want to rush you or anything but can you answer my question?

Maybe I'm ignored by him, if that's the case...

Did you pass those courses?

Because trying to compare counting stats for a guy who has played 324 minutes with a guy who has played 127 minutes suggests you didn't.

What do you mean what I'm talking about? He said Jack beat him off clean. Clearly Hutson had to break and circle back while Jack was skating sideway (from east to west) with momentum already. There's no way any player in the league in Hutson's position can beat Jack Hughes back on the back check on this play.

I can type it slower for you to understand if you prefer.
clearly elite edge work

Hutson's compete level is excellent, this is an odd thing to criticize.

You think he took first year statistics, failed it, but then somehow took second year statistics, failed that too, and then amazingly was still allowed to take third year statistics anyway?

Why not just come here and say "I don't actually watch the player, but I'm going to weigh in on him anyway."

This comment has completely exposed you.

Everyone needs to take a deep breath when it comes to Hutson. He's very good.

Did Habs fans and media hype him up like he's the next Bobby Orr all summer? Absolutely. But that doesn't mean he is bad because he hasn't lived up to those unrealistic expectations.

He's a smaller player but a very quick and deceptive player. He's also currently playing on a weaker team. His offensive skills are legitimately explosive and his defensive game will come around.

I expect him to be a very good player in this league for many years. He's also put up some very good points for a rookie defenseman so far this year which shouldn't be overlooked. Habs fans deserve to be excited about him.

If he thinks comparing counting stats of 130 minutes vs 325 minutes makes sense in any way, I don't know how he passed. (that and the lack of statistical understanding he's shown throughout our conversations)

That doesn't answer the question. Leave the goalposts alone and just answer the question.

You believe he failed first year stats, but was able to take second year stats, which he also failed, and the was able to take third year stats?

I ask again - what are you talking about?
