Boyle averaged over 12 goals a season and an even plus/minus.

Hutson is on pace for 4 goals and a -20

Hutson is likely going to be a star, he's fantastic. But he has a way to go to get there.

Love how you can make stats say what you want when you don't take 5 seconds to dig a little. Before tonight's game he was -8.

He's 0GF, 8GA on empty nets. By your flawless logic he struggles defensively because he can't play goalie. That's how stupid your argument is if you're going to use his +/-

Along with his points, that pass he made to Gallagher in the third was awesome. Threaded the needle, just too bad Gallagher missed the easy shot. He took over that period. Rookie d-men shouldn't be this good.
The worst thing is : That arguably wasn't even the easiest tap-in missed by a Hab forward on a Hutson pass tonight!

No doubt about it. We get a 1st overall in the second round. Just imagine how lucky we are. Habs fans had been screaming to draft Hutson in early second round and they are lucky they still be able to get him at the end if the second round. Thanks Kulak a thousand time.

It's karma for getting Kotkaniemi instead of Hughes.

Boyle had a nice career, but he never scored more than 22 pts until he was 26 years old. His first five seasons were all minus.

if we're comparing numbers, Hutson is way ahead.

Not to mention he just pulled that -20 number out of his ass.

Huston is a -7 and he's been on the ice for 8 empty net goals. Where he got the idea he's pacing for a -20 is beyond me, but it certainly wasn't from looking at the stats.

Yeah he could have had a couple more assists. His passing when he goes down in the lower half of the ozone reminds me of a really good passing forward such as Krejci. Somehow slows things down then makes an elite pass.
