Landeskog returns. Avs loan him to AHL for conditioning stint

It'd be amazing if it works out. But this could also be another Bishop situation, where the AHL stint makes him realize that he can no longer keep up with the game. Still, it's going to be an answer one way or the other, which is probably what both he and the team needs after 3 years

Either this is going to end his career or come back.

Hope it's a come back heart fealt story.

It's gonna be a huge load of the shoulders of MacKinnon, I expect him to burst when his fellow returns

convenient timing, im guessing he'll be NHL ready the minute the cap stops applying eh?
Hes coming off 3 years not playing hockey

The expectation should be he gets scratched in the playoffs because hes not good enough to play playoff games.

Its extremely rare for a player to miss so much time and comeback close to what they were before.

Ben Bishop tried making a comeback for Dallas in 2022 after missing 1.5 years and he sucked due to his injury not letting him play.

Landeskog playing is great. But if hes not effective and is being played regardlesd by the Avs thats a big advantage for Western conference playoff teams

"Returning to a skill after a break can often lead to improved performance because the brain consolidates and strengthens neural pathways, making it easier to recall and execute the skill, even after a period of inactivity. "
