In the first playoff game when he gets hit by Marchment full speed we will see what is the reality. They bloody better prepare for it, since I know its coming. He must handle it since it would be the worst feeling to see Landy be carried out off the ice hurting. Almost like hearing Nuke being suspended hours before game.
The team must be mentally prepared to rally around their captain if that happens and beat the living shit out of Dallas players. Everyone of them...
If someone comes after Landy with an intent to injure or non-intent but high likelihood of injury then that’d be the ultimate disrespect to an elite player that has worked so very hard to return from LTIR despite setbacks. Contact? Hits? Yes within the bounds of the game. Hits intended to injure or likely to cause that? Absolutely not. That’d deserve immediate ejection and suspension much less a few facial fractures IMO.
This is rare. I’m a Video Producer for a larger company and work with lots of others. Generally we all shoot 6-8k and provide enough room in framing to accommodate for both.

If Landy, or any player, gets blown up cleanly that is purely on them. Circumstance doesn’t matter, this is a full contact sport. Sure a team response makes sense but in no way does ejection let alone suspension.
