Had to be done, last few years has been terribly mismanaged, overall he did a decent job (looking at the entire tenure) but change was needed
Seems like the ownership agreed with the majority of the fan base and national people covering the sport that the GM had done a poor job the last 4 years and needed to go.
Maybe the few people still defending his recent work in 2025 were the lunatics all along?

I honestly think Roy will be the GM, or at least move to an assistants role. He indicated in his presser last year if I recall correctly something like I would like to be in the front office eventually.
