Before the 7 game winning streak:

Rough game for Detroit, but this game was always a sort of "trap game" with the impending road trip coming up for them. Will be interesting to see how they respond.

They looked like the Lalonde Wings.

Between Gustafsson's abysmal shift on that first goal, both his and Kasper's shitty effort to get to the guy after he was in. Holl getting stripped in the crease. Guys being left wide open. The entire PK unit abandoning the right side of the ice so far that none were right of the left faceoff dot.

They apparently forgot Lalonde wasn't the coach anymore last night.

That Sharks shorthanded goal was hilarious.

I liked Gustafsson completely abandoning his post on the point, then ignoring Sturm and the right side of the ice to attack Eklund, who was already covered by two guys, and then seeing Sturm with the puck in all alone and just putting his head to the sky and coasting.

Two senseless f***ups followed by zero effort to correct them. How are you in the NHL?
