I like it for LA. He's not a game changer, but consider that he's likely replacing Turcotte on the top line. That's an upgrade. I like Alex, but he's faded as the season has gone on and he's liable to be invisible in the playoffs. Now, Kopitar and Kempe have a more veteran linemate and maybe playing with them will get the most out of Kuzmenko. He did score 39 goals only a couple of years ago. Even if it was a fluke, I'm not going to complain about Kopitar and Kempe having someone with at least that capability on their wing.

Kempe dumping the puck into the zone, forechecking like a madman, getting the puck back, and looking for his linemates who have yet to cross the redline

Seems like more of a moore-danault-kuzmenko line thing but I guess the flexibility/options it gives them is the point
