Last year I was one of Stechers biggest supporters because I saw potential, but since coming back from injury he's been an absolute liability. Getting anything for him is a bonus.

Stecher was mostly a mess for the Wings. That being said the Wings defensive corps is also a mess overall so it's hard to get a read on his current level of play. But he didn 't improve things.

Good for him to go to a playoff team I guess?

He's coming off a wrist injury that required surgery, and overall he wasn't very good for the Wings. He was a healthy scratch at the start of the season. Looking at the Wings defensive roster, that does not speak well of a player.
