Any one else see 12/44 pass to Lewis who then flubs the shot for a rush opportunity against? Happened more then once. Lewis is a liability because he can't keep the play going forward.

Other then that...

Man that would be funny if Quick tweaked his knee with 14 sec left up by 7...

Funny is not the F word I'd use.

A 9-2 victory and taking a jab at Lewis

in what dimension are you living that Quick tweaking his knee is funny?

Lewis was set up on 2 plays, one each from 12/44... both times he flubbed the shot and gave up good opportunities going the other way. The inability to make a play in the offensive zone is a problem with a few of the players on this team. When they fumble the puck it creates opportunities. Lewis just stood out getting burned 2 times tonight when he should have had a decent shot.

This game obviously wasn't important because Boston clearly didn't show up. Still good to look at where the issues are. Playoff teams will more then likely have a good chance to convert on those plays. It needs to be cleaned up.

I was impressed on Lewis' goal that he went to an open area near the net so if there happens to be a rebound he'd have a good chance. Nice change instead of taking himself out of the play with his positioning.

Edit: I would love nothing more for Lewis to put it together and score 20+ goals.

Then price himself off the team. :naughty:

Points, points for everyone. That was brutal. I hope we trade Eriksson for a decent D-man, because.....it's obvious. Glad Lucic got one. Congrats.

I'm not sure why I was flipping between you guys and my Oilers as I should've just stayed on the LA game, but what a win.

How has Vinny and Schenn been as a whole?

Can some of these goals carry over to the Thursday Friday games? Say 4? Make the score 5-2 and then we will split those goals against the Islanders and Rangers.
Deal?

I had trouble finding the LA feed. I was NOT going to listen to Jack Edwards although given the final score, it might have been fun listening to him cry.

Nah, no crying, more like resigned acceptance. Jack and Brick spent most of the third talking about their favorite Looch moments. He is missed greatly on and off the ice. I think you guys have figured out by now why we love him so much and no matter what stupid stuff he did over the years, the positive far outweighs the negative. No matter what the Canucks and Habs fans tell you, LOL. Enjoy having him, embrace the hate he brings from other teams and fan bases, and just sit back and watch him do his thing.

I watched the Boston feed. Edwards was fine - actually he was very complimentary of Toffoli early on, then was complimentary of the Kings play in general (and the western conference in general) as time went on. Andy Brickley is an excellent color commentator and is pretty down the middle. He was giving the Bruins a lot of grief over their lack of coverage between the dots.

The Bruins have ONE win against western playoff teams, and basically outside of Washington and maybe Tampa and Florida, the Kings should beat all these eastern teams. Of course, whether they will or not... :)

just hoping they get the opportunity to

Vinny has been very impressive, he has lost a few steps but his hands are still world class. We are not a fast team, so he fits with us so well. He's a huge guy too, so he is perfect for our grind 'em down style.

Schenn is playing well too. You don't notice him too much which is a good thing, because that would mean he's ****ing up. He gets a little lost at times, but he's filling that Greene/Regehr role nicely. It's nice to have a stay at home D who throws monster hits again. I was not happy to have Schenn at all when we first traded for him, but our coaches have really helped clean all the Philly stink off of him.
