Russell!

Brown, Lewis scoring is a sign of the Apocalypse.

If they can keep up this depth scoring the Kings are going to be trouble in the playoffs.

Feels good to kick the Hawks/Stars in the teeth.

Fox is right, Roussel does look like a rat...

(but not more than Couture, of course)

In 2012 and 2014, the Kings started their finishing kick in the last 20 games. Don't look now, but we're seeing it again.

i missed this game, but apparently the apocalypse is here because Brown scored for the 2nd game in a row AND Lewis scored. Oh, and Scuds played only like a minute less than Doughty and chipped in two assists.

And Shore got on the board and didn't take a penalty.

Seriously, what's going on? villages are burning left and right here

Now what would be a real sign of the apocalypse is if McNabb and Schenn played a complete game where they don't give any of us a heart attack with their bonehead plays.

You'd think that they've never handled the puck before any time they try to make a play.

Yes this is the ultimate apocalypse right here. So pretty much apocalypse aint happening. ;)

Jesus FSN, why did it take you so long to unwrap Jeanne Zelasko? She is terrific.

And props to whoever had the giant disco ball on hand to deliver to the Kings dressing room after the win.

Our pk really showed up on this short roadtrip, considering the Kings took 10 in two games. 1 pp goal against two very good team isn't bad. By comparrison we only had 3 pp chances in two games, which once again is just mindblowing .

So if the Hawks are a dynasty after winning 3 Cups in 6 years? What will the Kings be if they can win 3 in 5? A Super Dynasty? Dynastier?

That word is only used for the Hawks, no matter if we do 3 in 5 years. They'll be referred to as a minor dynasty, you know like the way Pluto is considered a minor planet.

Well, some fans who started watching hockey in 2010 were already proclaiming the Hawks to be the greatest dynasty of all time after their last Cup win. So you raise a mystifying question. Let's just blame the refs and Bettman for being in favor of the Kings.

Except for the opening of the game. With that green light on her, she looked like the Bride of Frankenstein. I seriously had to look away. Jeanne Zelasko has been covering baseball for Fox most of her career, and is playing backup to Alex Curry while she covers the Angels.

Love seeing high flying, all offense, teams look like garbage when the games become playoff like and they face a strong defensive team.

Defense wins every time when the games matter more.

Dallas loses in the first round.

Kopitar now has 7 game winning goals on the year. Third best in the entire NHL.

And know it'll be hard to handle, but there isn't a damn forward in the NHL I'd take over Kopitar. Even Crosby.

It's pretty damn funny a few on this board were advocating moving him because he wouldn't be worth his contract extension. Kopitar is in decline! Oh, and I agree with you. What makes Kopitar so good is that he can fit into any style of play and excel. You don't have to design your system around him. NOBODY is more responsible or makes as good decisions with the puck in all 3 zones as this guy. His reads on when to attack, when to back-check and when to support the puck are ridiculously good.

Russell and Goligoski should be ashamed to call themselves NHL defensemen.
