You always complain about how everyone talks after only the losses, well look at Sunday's PGT after the loss to a poor team, barely any posts.

The Kings are playing low end Eastern Conf teams a few days before a mjor holiday, ofcourse there isn't going to be a heavy discussion. Come back when we play the Sharks Canucks etc. and the discussion (positive and negative) will be in full force.

It's just ridiculous to think that this board is negative, in fact it's quite the opposite. Go down to the forum jump and visit basically any other team board and you will see if anything that this board is on the positive spectrum, and by a significant margin.

I believe the pick the Kings traded to Florida in order to move up and select Forbort at the 2010 draft turned out to be Bjugstad.

Think the Panthers would take that swap today?

Damn I wish we'd draft more centerman, especially guys with size like Bjugstad. At least Kempe seems to be coming along nicely, because he's just about the only good center we have in development. My gut tells me he's going to be really good.

But how would Florida have felt if the Kings had taken Tarasenko with the pick?

Florida obviously ended up with the better player in the deal, but they also could have easily have stayed put and taken Tarasenko. A guy like that would go a long way in making hockey relevant in South Florida.

Florida has a ton of young talent, with some decent centers in Bjugstad and Barkov (would love either of these 2 on the Kings). Finally didn't look as sloppy as the last couple, they looked more focused and played with some desperation. Pearson looked especially good even though he didn't show up on the score sheet.
