What's even more telling is how bad that team is. Seems to me he would want to work something out with the Kings where he has a chance to win.

Not much to be upset about. Great first period, though (as always) I'd like to see us do more with heavy possession. Tone down the penalties, but that's a step in the right direction, and nice to see Gaborik-from-Kopitar on the scoresheet again (Kopi's first 5v5 assist of the season, sheesh). I think some things are trending up, though I hope they weren't trending up enough that Ehrhoff doesn't immediately go back out of the lineup I couldn't stop laughing when we pulled Quick for the extra player on the delayed penalty and Ehrhoff just softly passed it to the panther. The guy is clearly not right in the head for whatever reason. No matter how well we are playing I fully expect DL to pull the trigger on a d-man move at some point.

Quick was an absolute monster tonight, great response after yesterday. A few posters need to give him props.

Ehrhoff just isn't good, he wasn't good last year and he's not been good this year. It was a decent shot in the dark because the guy used to be a really good NHL defenseman and he signed for so cheap, but there is just no sign of life.

It's obvious that DS has 5 defenders he is comfortable with right now and has zero faith in Errorhoff or Forbort, and who knows when Greene will be healthy or if he can still play at the NHL level. Luckily the other five guys (minus a few hiccups from McNabb) have all played pretty well.

After reviewing all available replays and consulting with NHL Hockey Operations staff, the Referee determined that Los Angeles’ Nick Shore interfered with Florida goaltender Al Montoya before the puck crossed the goal line, preventing him from playing his position.

Therefore the original call stands – no goal Los Angeles.

Since the Coach’s Challenge did not result in the original call being overturned, the Kings forfeit their time-out

I still dont see the interference, yet the still frame of the video shows Shore being pushed from behind.

Florida has a ton of young talent, with some decent centers in Bjugstad and Barkov (would love either of these 2 on the Kings). Finally didn't look as sloppy as the last couple, they looked more focused and played with some desperation. Pearson looked especially good even though he didn't show up on the score sheet.

I believe the pick the Kings traded to Florida in order to move up and select Forbort at the 2010 draft turned out to be Bjugstad.

Think the Panthers would take that swap today?

LOL, are you ever happy with anything in the PGT's?

You always complain about how everyone talks after only the losses, well look at Sunday's PGT after the loss to a poor team, barely any posts.

The Kings are playing low end Eastern Conf teams a few days before a mjor holiday, ofcourse there isn't going to be a heavy discussion. Come back when we play the Sharks Canucks etc. and the discussion (positive and negative) will be in full force.
