Both have 4 years left on their contracts. So who would you take, Kaprizov for $9M/year or Laine for $8.7M/year?
You could argue he was on track. Finishing 7th and 2nd in goals in your first 2 years is impressive, But it's been 4 years since he's even been top 10 in goals.Laine, he's a generational goalscorer.
Kaprizov, Laine for sure has untapped potential to be the better.
Well, tell me what Laine is then? On his second season he had 44goals and was PPG, on his third season he had only 50 points in 82 gp.Why? They are basically the same age. I think at this point Laine is what he is. This isn't even close.
