Laine blows a goal THROUGH Seider's stick

In regards to who is the superior goal scorer? No, no there is not.
I feel like they're referring to the better one timer, which is well... whatever.

Edit: Ah, as I point up to the post before this one. I am mistaken, my apologies.

A 14% difference is quite abit. Try that kind of math on setting a car's timing and you'll find the term easily works - as it easily destroys your motor.

I don't think I've ever heard an athlete make such a irresponsible statement.

He better be on his knees kissing ass in the Habs locker room, who in the hell is going to

sign this clown if it doesn't work out in Montreal?

How do you say “soft” in Finnish??

No PP goals tonight, superstar.

Didn't you throw a mini tantrum after his last game about how much you didn't care about anything Laine does in MTL?

But now you want to chime in and poke fun at him getting injured.

I'm happy we got Laine. He's a great talent and I believe he might work out here under the right circumstances.

But today was a great reminder why he came so cheap in a trade: Guy showed poor attitude shitting on his former team, gave them huge motivation and is soft when it comes to showing up in intense games.

Gets injured at the same rate fat geeky kids collect Pokemon cards too.

I've crapped on Laine early, but his skill in undeniable. He has arguably the best shot in the NHL. Unfortunately, he's the softest player in the NHL. Soft mentally, soft physically, 0 heart.

Honestly, I bet his next contract will help. If he's paid like a 10 minute forward with all the powerplay time he can handle, maybe he settles in.

"Frustrating when you are trying to win and some people, you know, are not like that."

From the guy paid by the team to take a fortnite break. Possibly one of the most tone deaf idiots to play in the NHL. I need to stop there.. I would be wanting to fight him every time we played.

This from one of the softest, laziest players the NHL knows. I would not want to be the team that signs this man child long term.

This statement is a great preview for if/when things go south in Montreal

Run your mouth Laine. I don't have a problem with it.

What sucks is he keeps getting injured. If he could stay healthy he could get away with being cocky

His bluntness can be funny but in times like this it certainly backfires on him. Dude is coming off a long layoff and doesn't really have his legs under him yet, not the best of ideas to make a target out of himself.

Honestly, if you look on our boards, most people are saying there may have been bits of truth in there. The issue is, in typical Laine fashion, he conveniently left himself out of the problem category. If I had to pick out one player last year who didn't seem to give a shit at times, it's easily Patrik Laine. He's a walking victim complex.

You understand the team that he just played against, correct??

And the comments he made about said team/organization before the game??

That 1st period was the most fun I’ve ever had watching Laine play at Nationwide arena. The compilation video of him getting bullied and doing nothing positive on the ice all period would be awesome. Vintage Laine.

Greatest shot in the league but he really isn't buying himself a lot of goodwill with the 'It's everybody's fault but mine' attitude.
Ok , things weren't working in Columbus for him and hope he does well in the future but maybe show some accountability going forward.

Buy a clue you idiot. Classless floater with arguably the best shot in hockey...what a shame it didn't go to someone worth celebrating.

Does he even remember what that team has gone through...disgusting

Big contract year coming and then the worst contract in hockey is my prediction
