I'd like to cross-check these new ads that keep making my screen smaller and ruining my experience on HF...

But yeah, what a load of B.S, whatever. We're the rough and tough squad now, hopefully the boys rally around this and make it their identity for the playoffs going forward.

Big mistake League. You've just pissed off the Toronto Maple Leafs, and we've already had a chip on our shoulders this playoffs ;)
No f***ing kidding. Who the f*** thought that was a good idea?

For the sake of transparency, DoPs/Parros needs to explain why some plays warrant a fine/suspension and the same play against the Leafs don't get any punishment. It's just happening far too often that a vendetta isn't out of question.

Imagine if our reporters did their job and requested comment on that comparison (Maroon vs. Clifford).

Dude was all ready to give Maroon a bad review on yelp

He crosschecked the guy in the face, and his face was bruised afterward. The fine is deserved if you ask me. You should not crosscheck people in the face.
Maybe so but Lafferty's stick rode up Coltons arm and shoulder so it was more accident than malicious intent. Now lets talk about the cross check O'Reilly took across the back of the shoulders/neck after scoring the winning goal?

Is Maroon getting anything for the hit on McCabe in OT? Brutal hit.

As if Bettman and Sweeney would approve of that.

How are the refs going to call something like that when they don`t have permission ?

Give your head a shake.
:sarcasm:

Imagine being a ref and changing the 5 min penalty to Rielly to the correct call of no penalty ? They are in enough trouble already.

It begs the question why there seems to be such a bias? when Did it even start?
The NHL has spent so much time wooing big American investors because they know Canadians will suck on the NHL's diseased-ridden teats like drug addicts no matter what, so they are taken for granted.

Jeremy Jacobs would literally set the entire nation of Canada on fire if it would lead to more US expansion fees and TV deals.

It's not the fine on Lafferty that is the key part here.
This is DOPS setup for next year when they can Kadri/Bunting him with a 3 game.

Gotta lay the groundwork for future Anti-Leaf shenanigans.

We usually get bullied in the playoffs and we are too soft. We add grit and start hitting back, now we are dirty. Lmao. You love to see it. Guess we will have to fine and suspend our way to the next round. I'm good with it. Don't want to see injuries but also am tired of early knockouts and being pushed around.

Ah, against the Bolts I see suspensions and fines as a badge of honour. It means we're pushing back.

And yes, the fines should be going the other way too but if I'm keeping score on this series we may be losing in the fines/suspensions column, but the Bolts are losing in the banged up and injured players one. I'll take that any day, esp. considering who is suspended vs. injured.
